The yahurei wolf is a very large beast that lives in highland mountain regions that are filled with forestry. They tend to have blood red fur with a tan belly, bright yellow eyes, very large ears bearing tan fluff, a white nose, paw pads, and claws, and a thin stripe of silverish-black fur along their back from the base of their nose to the tip of its tail. The inside of their mouth is inky black with pearly white teeth. Forest Guides. Yahurei wolves' eyes are said to pierce through a creature's very being, seeing their true nature. If a wolf senses that a creature is good natured, they will guide them through their domain for passage. In any other situation, a creature is often left to wander the wolf's highlands for years at a time. Lone Peace Keepers. Yahurei wolves tend to avoid violence, only ever attacking when they feel cornered or in danger, and are rarely found in groups. They typically act as lords of their territory, keeping small groups of prey animals safe during seasons of overhunting, and assisting in feeding predators in seasons of starvation. |
