Wrōts (3023 A.D. Venus City)
From D&D Wiki
Wrōts[edit]
Wrōts was constructed before the 500-Year-Long War, but it became an important bastion of defense. It was the last city standing by the end of The Tragedy and helped the humans enormously with its access to Venus's metals. It is a highly defensive city, and its main trade now is still metal. Most of its citizens are refugees from The Tragedy, and have never seen the outside. Despite this, the citizens of Wrōts are healthy and capable. During the 500-Year-Long War, Wrōts has been attacked hundreds of times, and have not once been successfuly held.
Layout[edit]
Wrōts is an underground city located on Venus. The only way in or out is a large, vertical tunnel in Venus. The tunnel goes into Venus for 2 miles and is half a mile in diameter. At the bottom is a port for ships to land, and a large gate. The large gate is just for ships, though, and there is a smaller gate at the side. Past the gate is a large city with winding walkways, tall skyscrapers, and large patches of natural areas. Standing from the gate, it is impossible to tell when the city stops in all directions, except the ceiling. The ceiling is painted blue, and a large ball that is located inside the ceiling is a UV light source. Using it, the city emulates a day/night cycle.
