Intended for four level 1-2 level 3-6 players adventurers.
this is the fourth day in the town of woods haven and should be played only after woods haven part 1, if the party went hunting with lord nickels this will only give you info on what happened to the town wile the players where gone.

Quest Introduction[edit]
the morning of the fourth day in woods haven its the day after the feast at lord nickels where the party was asked to go hunting with the lord this is what takes place while the lord is gone hunting for 3 days, if the players stay in town this is what happens.
History[edit]
morning of day four in town Lord Mayor Sir Nickels talks to the seven dwarf mercenary’s in the inn he sends them to check out the logging camp and the missing loggers and his half elf rangers he sent their. (The dwarfs wont let the party come with them.)
Hook[edit]
the toy makers toys are kidnapping children and killing their parents. The toys will kidnap any children they can without being caught and take them on a 3 day trip to the gates of the goblin fort that now sits on the ruins of the old temple of the holy order. The local sheriff has been locked in his cell for when the towns people figured out that the toy makers toys are the things kidnapping and killing people he and his wife where hung by their feet and beaten with sticks until death. Note (if any goblins that watch the town have been captured they two will be hung)
Background[edit]
The toy maker He was once a nice man whose skills in caving made him one of the best wood doll carvers in the land all his toys have moving joints making them great for puppeteers. His wife is a gifted sower and she has spent years perfecting the best stuffed animals you can buy, her specialty is teddy bears. All was well making a good living with many of the toys being sold in the capital city. Until 4 months ago when their son went into the woods with some of the other towns children, he never returned, the other children can home without a scratch telling the towns people that the toy makers son must of got lost and would be home soon. The toy maker thinks the other children played a trick on his son leaving him in the woods; he found rope lying on the ground by the old oak tree in the woods. The truth is he was tied to the tree and the children pretended to leave him there, they hid in the gully for 15 minutes and then come right back but the toy makes son was gone. The children won’t admit to what happened unless they are scared in to telling the truth. The boy was really taken by 2 goblin scouts that have spent a month in this tree spying on the town they took the boy back to where there new camp is. A make shift fort built on the ruins of an old temple 3 days walk deep in the forest the boy was given to their leader he needs a young human for something but goblin spies don’t ask questions of their Goblin leader Krull a powerful cleric. The toy maker went looking for his son he search the woods until he was lost, he was so deep in the wood he had never been this deep in the woods before, this is where he found a long black rock carved to look like a finger of a giant. He did not know why but he had to bring this rock home and then he was home dirty and tired he couldn’t remember getting home. The toy make soon fell in to a deep sleep he dream of beings in white robes casting powerful spells at him and then the long black rock crashed to the ground as if it had been blown of his hand. Then his dream changed to him working in is shop making toys he chipped peace’s of the long black rock and concealed them in the head of his toys the toys head move and said we will get those children for you. When he woke up he knew how to get his revenge on the people of wood haven for herting his son and not helping him look for him. The toy maker started making toys as fast as he could. The toys come to life they are evil and need the blood of the innocent to raise the rest of their giant stone body (the Golm)

Stage One: night of day four in woods haven[edit]
two children went missing in the night their parents have had their throats cut in their sleep. The children where taken by two toy bear's,LEOPARD STUFFED TOY and a wood carving toy if encountered the leopard will go behind the players the wood carving toy will attack head on and the bears will carry off the children.
The next day the town’s people are searching the countryside for the missing children, the mothers of the children that are left keep their doors locked and their children home.
Stage Two: night of day five in woods haven[edit]
3 more children go missing in the night more parents have had their throats cut. The children where taken by three toy bear's, two LEOPARD STUFFED TOY and a wood carving toy.

lord Mayor Sir Nickel’s daughter is taken in the night by her toys he is tied to the back of her toy tiger the tiger and a toy bear race as fast as they can in to the woods on a 3 day trip to the gates of the goblin fort that now sits on the ruins of the old temple of the holy order.
Stage Three: day six in woods haven[edit]
the town is in a panic. at some point here the towns people figure out that the toys are doing this. have a person on guard in the town see a child being carried away by a toy or maybe the party will find the evil stone in the toy makers cellar, the payers could get in to a fight with the toys that are taking children in the night. at some point the towns people will go after the toy maker and his wife they want to hang them by their feet from a fountain in the town square where they will beat them to death. Note if any goblins that watch the town have been captured they two will be hung (this is info about goblins is from woods haven part 1) The local sheriff has been locked in his cell by his own men he tried to stop the towns people from taking and killing the toy maker and his wife.
word gets around town that lord Mayor Sir Nickel’s daughter is missing taken in the night by her toys (unless the party has discovered the toys and removed her toys.) She is tied to the back of her toy tiger the tiger and a toy bear race as fast as they can in to the woods on a 3 day trip to the gates of the goblin fort that now sits on the ruins of the old temple of the holy order.
Stage Four: night of day six[edit]
if any of the party went hunting with lord nickels when they return from the hunt the first thing that is notices’ is no noise from the mills the saw mills are not running. As the party reaches the town they find it quit everyone is locked in their houses and the toy maker and his wife are dead hanging by their feet in the town square. The party will learn of the events that have taken place in town. lord Mayor Sir Nickel’s want s the party to come to his manor house to help look for his daughter. An evil wood carving toy is waiting to kill him in his study.
At some point the party must meet up with the mysterious elf (alinder the drow) they saw sitting in the back room of the bar the first night they came to town. This will happen when the players go in to the woods either to track stolen children or to check out the logging camp doesn’t matter how they meet just that they meet. She will offer the party leader 100 gold half now half later to get his group to help her or if she feels that the group has no one leader she offers them each 50 gold half now half later. She will lead the group deep in to the woods to the goblin fort.
