ACTIONS

Multiattack. The windborn can use its Wind Stride. It then makes one attack

Shortsword. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d6 + 3) piercing damage.

Shortbow. Ranged Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, range 80/320 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d6 + 3) piercing damage.

Wind Stride. The windborn gains a flying speed of 40 feet until the end of its turn. If it ends its turn in midair, it falls, taking falling damage as normal. After using this action, the windborn takes 3 (1d6) lightning damage. This damage cannot be reduced or avoided by any means.

REACTIONS

Shocking Stride. When the windborn is reduced to 0 hit points, it flies up to 40 feet. Each creature within 5 feet of it as it moves must succeed on a DC 12 Dexterity saving throw or take 7 (2d6) lightning damage. If the windborn was reduced to 0 hit points by lightning damage, it flies up to 80 feet instead.
The windborn can use Shocking Stride even if it has already used a reaction this turn.

Windborn are humanoids transformed by evil magic aligned with elemental air. Windborn have skin tinged sky blue with various splotches reminiscent of clouds and their hair and clothes constantly rustle as though disturbed by a light breeze. They have carefree and flighty dispositions, attention constantly shifting from one thing to another. Windborn adore air elementals, though they absolutely despise earth elementals.
Windborn have the ability to fly and love feeling the wind rush by as they do so. However, they can't do so often as otherwise, the elemental magic coursing through their bodies shall surely overwhelm them. When this happens, their bodies crackle with lightning and they surge forth in one final flight. If this occurs in battle, the windborn will attempt to catch as many enemies as possible in the jolt, uncaring of whether any allies are harmed as well.
