This spell allows you to perfectly fix your current location in your mind.
This spell has two applications. In the first, and most common, you perfectly fix your current location in your mind. You can instantly know the exact distance and direction from any waypoint you have set. This does not grant you any knowledge about what lies between your current location and your waypoint, or how exactly to return there. You may, however, teleport or scry on a waypoint with no chance of failure. A waypoint will typically last for a month before the knowledge fades from your mind. By casting the spell in its second application, however, you may refresh the duration of an existing waypoint so that it lasts for another month.
You may have a maximum number of waypoints equal to your Intelligence modifier.
Material Component: A magnetized iron nail or needle.
