Way of the Raging Demon[edit]
A monk that incorporates anger into his attacks, making them precise yet brutal.
Throughout history, special types of monk have learnt to master their emotion not through intense suppression but by hardening their rage and manipulating it through their ki. These monks can burn through armies and even destroy the soul of their foes.
- Raging Blast
Starting at 3rd level, as an action, you can use 1 ki point to unleash a ball of pure rage at an enemy. This special attack is a ranged spell attack with a range of 30 feet. You are proficient with it, and you add your Dexterity modifier to its attack and damage rolls. This deals 1d10 fire damage for every ki point spent, up to a maximum of 5d10.
- Rage Brawling
Starting at 3rd level, as an action, you can use 1 ki point to surround your forearms and hands with pure ki to make a melee spell attack with a range of an unarmed strike. You are proficient with it, and you add your Dexterity modifier to its attack and damage rolls. This deals 1d10 fire damage for every ki point spent, up to a maximum of 5d10.
- Torrid Destruction
Starting at 6th level, you learn to harness the power of your rage and deal some big damage. You take a stance, fly towards your enemy (maximum of 30 ft) and hit them with 9d10 fire damage + your Dexterity modifier. On a crit, your enemy is knocked prone. You can add another 1 d10 by using one ki point.
- Oni Power
Starting at 11th level, you can unleash your anger filled energy into your body as a bonus action. For 5 minute you assume a semi-demon form. In that form your unarmed strikes deal an extra 2d8 fire damage, your jump height is multiplied by 5, your speed is doubled, and you gain immunity to fire damage and necrotic damage.
Additionally, your Dexterity score is increased by 3 for the duration. You may do so again after finishing a short or long rest.
- Final Strike
Starting at 17th level, you can spend 1 ki point to launch yourself at an enemy 15 feet near you. The target must make a Constitution saving throw, and take 3d12 fire damage. The target takes half as much damage on a successful saving throw. You can increase the damage by 1d12 for every additional ki point spent.
