Way of the Pyrokinetic[edit]
Monastic Tradition
Pyrokinetic monks are powerful fire users, often mistaken for pyromancers or fire mages. Awoken by the Great Flames, pyrokinetic monks channel their inner fire externally, using it in combat. A pyrokinetic externalizes their flame around certain body parts, be it mouth, hands, arms, and feet. and uses their ability to heighten the power of their attacks.
- Pyrokinesis
Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you gain the ability to manipulate flames with the power of mind. You can cast control flames, using Wisdom as your spellcasting ability.
In addition, you can cast and control the flames using this spell using either an action or a bonus action on your turn.
- Ignite
At 3rd level, as a bonus action, you can spend 1 ki point to cause your body to burst into flames. While ignited, once in each of your turns when you hit a creature with an unarmed strike, you cause additional 1d6 fire damage.
You remain ignited for 1 minute, or until you are knocked unconscious.
- Jet Kick
Also at 3rd level, you can project flames backwards and enhance the impact of your kicks. Once per turn, when you hit a creature with an unarmed strike, you can spend 1 ki point to turn that strike into a critical, and push the target 10 feet back. This increases to 15 feet at 6th level, 20 feet at 11th level and 30 feet at 17th level.
- Devil Footprints
At 6th level, you concentrate the flames of your ignition in your feet. While ignited, your speed and jump distances increases by 20 feet and moving doesn’t provoke opportunity attacks.
When you move within 5 feet of a creature or an object that isn’t being worn or carried, it takes 1d6 fire damage from your trail of heat. A creature or object can take this damage only once during a turn.
- Inferno Flames
At 11th level, when you use your Flurry of Blows, you can forgo one of your unarmed strikes to Ignite yourself without spending additional ki.
In addition, whenever you hit a creature with an unarmed strike granted by your Flurry of Blows, you can use a Jet Kick without spending extra ki. You still can use Jet Kick only once per turn.
- Flame Within
When you reach the 17th level, you can fly with a speed equal to your movement speed while you are ignited.
In addition, you are resistant to fire damage, and your flames ignore resistant to fire damage. You also treat immunity to fire as resistance to fire.
