Way of the Passive Hand (5e Subclass)
From D&D Wiki
Way of the Passive Hand[edit]
Monk Subclass
A Bandit dashes toward the lone man, axe in hand, preparing to strike. With a quick flurry, the man pushes the Bandits arm away and lands a blow to his jawline, knocking him prone.
- Passive Stance
At 3rd level, you can use a bonus action to shift into a Passive Stance. Until the start of your next turn, if you are attacked within your unarmed attack's range, you can use your reaction to reduce the damage by 1d10 + your Dexterity modifier + your monk level. If you can reduce the damage to 0, you may spend 1 ki point to make an immediate unarmed melee attack.
- Chain Punch
Starting at 3rd level, you can unleash a constant stream of strikes upon your enemies. When you hit the same creature with both of your attacks granted by the flurry of blows, you can spend 1 ki point to an additional unarmed strike.
You can keep spending ki points to maintain the chain until you miss an attack, or until you have spent a number of ki points on the same chain equal to your proficiency bonus.
- Equal Coverage
At 6th level, immediately after you take the Attack action on your turn, you can spend 2 ki points to make three unarmed strikes as a bonus action. Each extra attack cannot target a creature you have hit this turn.
- Heightened Movement
At 11th, as an action, you can cast haste on yourself, without spending spell slots or material components.
Once you do so, you can't do it again until you finish a long rest, unless you spend 4 ki points to do so again.
- Aiding Strike
At 17th level, you catch a creature off guard. When a creature within 5 feet of you is hit by a creature other than you, you can use a reaction to make an unarmed strike against it. You can spend 2 ki points to make two additional attacks as part of that reaction.
