Monk Subclass
She had been tortured to death countless times only to be brought back again and again. Once broken, she was forced to watch them do the same to her mother. After they had broken her mother, she watched them kill her for two days. Then they brought her father and for the first time, she had intentionally inflicted pain.
She would torture him first because it was commanded, then because he had allowed this to happen to her, then because she took joy in causing him pain. Finally, she would kill him because she simply wished him dead after the week of torture or more he had suffered by her own hand.
Both of her parents were dead now, and her compassion with them. Mercy was granted only by the weak. The only things that mattered now were obedience and pain. Mostly just pain.
- Visage of Pain
Starting at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with leather armor,, and using leather armor don't prevent you from benefiting from any of your monk features.
When donning leather or studded leather armor, whenever you roll a 7 or lower on an Charisma (Intimidation) check, you can choose an 8 instead.
- Agiel
The agiel is the weapon of the Mord Sith. A leather baton that looks almost harmless, this weapon causes severe pain to any who touch it, even the wielder. Your agiel has the properties of a club, but causes psychic damage, instead of bludgeoning.
Once per turn, when you hit a creature with the agiel, you can spend 1 ki point to force the creature to make a Constitution saving throw against your ki save DC, as a wave of pain hit its body. The target takes 2d6 psychic damage on a failed save and is knocked prone on a failed save, or half as much and is not knocked on a success.
If you have no ki, you can instead take the same damage as the damage caused to your target. If you ever lose your agiel, you can create another by spending 8 hours modifying a club.
- Torture Tools
Also at 3rd level, you are a master in torturing your targets. You gain proficiency with the Torture Tools, and you can use any light weapon with the finesse property, and your agiel, as a torture tool.
In addition, When you have a restrained or otherwise helpless target that is unconscious, you can use your proficiency with Torture Tools to torture your opponents. You can choose to intimidate the target with the threat of torture, by making a Charisma (Torture Tools) contested by the target's Wisdom or Constitution saving throw (his choice). On a success, the target must answer a single question.
Alternatively, as an action, you can choose to inflict any amount of damage, up to a maximum equal to twice your proficiency bonus + your Dexterity modifier. If the amount inflicted is equal or higher the target's Constitution or Wisdom score (whichever is lower), you can make a Dexterity (Torture Tools) check, contested by the target's Constitution or Wisdom saving throw (whichever is higher). On a success, the target must reveal any question of your choice.
- Turn Arcane
Beginning at 6th level, you may stop or even turn magic by sheer force of will. You can spend 3 ki points to cast counterspell. Wisdom is your spellcasting ability for this spell.
- Pain Threshold
Also at 6th level, you gain a great tolerance to pain. You have advantage on any checks and saving throws made to resist pain. In addition, you are resistant to psychic damage.
- Counter-strike
At 11th level, when an enemy makes an attack roll targeting you, you can use your reaction to make an attack against that enemy, if it is within reach. If your attack hits, the target's attack misses, in addition to the normal effects of the attack.
In addition, as part of the same reaction, an armed attacker must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw against your ki save DC. On a failed save, the target is disarmed. The weapon falls in a unoccupied space of your choice within 10 feet.
- Magic Resistance
Beginning at 17th level, you are resistant to the damage of spells, and have advantage on all your saving throws against spells and magical effects.
