Way of the Crimson Fist (5e Subclass)
Way of the Crimson Fist[edit]
Monk Subclass
Monks who follow the Way of the Crimson Fist harness the power of time and space, manipulating reality to their advantage. They embody the relentless and unpredictable nature of King Crimson, striking with unmatched speed and precision.
- Temporal Awareness
At 3rd level, you gain an enhanced sense of time and perception. You add your Wisdom modifier (minimum of 1) to your initiative rolls, and you have advantage on Dexterity saving throws against effects that would slow or restrain your movement.
- Time Skip
Starting at 3rd level, you can briefly manipulate time to evade danger or gain a tactical advantage. As a bonus action, enter a state of temporal acceleration for a brief moment. During this time, you become invisible and gain a +10 bonus to your movement speed until the end of your turn. Additionally, you can move through creatures and objects as if they were difficult terrain. Once you use this feature, you must finish a short or long rest before you can use it again, unless you spend 2 ki points to do so again. At 17th level, you can use this feature twice between short rests.
- Fate Manipulation
At 6th level, you gain the ability to manipulate fate in combat. When you make an attack roll, you can choose to reroll the result.
Once you use this feature, you must finish a short or long rest before you can use it again. You can also spend 1 ki point to do so again.
- Temporal Distortion
At 11th level, you gain the ability to create temporal distortions around you, confusing your foes and granting you increased mobility. As a bonus action, you can expend 3 ki points to create an area of temporal distortion within a 30-foot radius centered on yourself. The distortion lasts for 1 minute or until you are incapacitated. While the distortion is active, your movement does not provoke opportunity attacks, and you can move through creatures and objects as if they were difficult terrain. Additionally, any creature that starts its turn within the distortion must make a Wisdom saving throw against your monk save DC or have disadvantage on attack rolls until the start of its next turn.
Once you use this feature, you must finish a short or long rest before you can use it again.
- Time Erasure
At 17th level, you gain the ultimate ability of temporal manipulation. As an action, you can activate Time Erasure. Until the end of your next turn, you become immune to all damage, conditions, and effects. During this time, you can freely move, attack, and use your monk features. At the end of the time period, any damage or conditions you would have taken or suffered are applied as if they had occurred normally.
Once you use this feature, you must finish a long rest before you can use it again, unless you spend 6 ki points to do so again.
