Way of the Brawler[edit]

Monk Subclass

Sometimes even the most rough fighting style can be refined into something beautiful

Grit and Bear

Life on the streets has hardened you for whatever life might throw your way, your hit point maximum is increased by 3 and is increased by 1 for each additional level you take in this class.

Keep Em on Their Toes

Starting at 3rd level, you learn how to abuse your opponent's natural openings, when a creature misses you with an attack you can use your reaction to make one unarmed strike against them.

Fancy Footing

When you reach 6th level, you gain a better understanding of fighting defensively. When you use Flurry of Blows, you gain the benefits of the dodge action.

Eyes on The Prize

At 11th level, you feel right at home on the battlefield. As an action you can spend 3 ki points to gain the following benefits for one minute.

  • Your AC is increased by 2.
  • The first creature you hit on each of your turns takes additional damage equal to your martial arts die.
  • When you use your Keep Em on Their Toes feature- you can make two unarmed strikes against the creature instead of one

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus. You regain all expended uses on a long rest.

Last Stand

Not every fight can go your way. Starting at 17th level, you learn to make the best of a terrible situation. When your hit points are reduced to below half your maximum you gain the following benefits.

  • At the end of each of your turns you regain hit points equal to your wisdom modifier
  • You have advantage on the first attack you make on each of your turns
  • When you use your Keep Em on Their Toes, you can make one additional attack

This effect ends when your hit points are restored above half your maximum.
