Way of Soul Music
Way of Soul Music Monks who follow the Way of Soul Music weave the rhythm of their spirit into every strike, movement, and melody. Their presence resonates across the battlefield, uniting allies and unbalancing enemies. No matter where they are, as long as they are in battle, the entire battlefield can hear their music playing—a sound that inspires hope or heralds doom. These monks use the power of harmony and dissonance to lead, protect, and triumph.
Level 3: Harmonious Strikes Your strikes resonate with the power of sound, creating ripples of inspiration or disruption. You gain the following abilities:
Resonant Blows: When you hit a creature with an unarmed strike, you can spend 1 ki point to unleash a burst of resonant energy. Choose one: Inspire: An ally within 30 feet of you gains temporary hit points equal to your Wisdom modifier + your proficiency bonus.
Disrupt: The target must succeed on a Constitution saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier) or be deafened until the end of your next turn and take additional thunder damage equal to your Martial Arts die. Song of Movement: Your steps echo with rhythm. You can use your bonus action to take the Dash or Disengage action without spending ki points.
Level 6: Echoing Presence Your voice and movements carry the weight of your soul, empowering those around you. You gain the following benefits:
Inspiring Melody: As an action, you can spend 2 ki points to create a melody of inspiration that lasts for 1 minute or until you are incapacitated. Allies within 60 feet of you gain advantage on saving throws against being frightened or charmed and can add your Wisdom modifier to their attack rolls once per turn.
Vibrational Awareness: You can sense the vibrations of sound and movement around you. You gain blindsight out to 30 feet.
Level 11: Crescendo Strikes Your mastery of sound and energy reaches new heights, allowing you to unleash devastating techniques:
Sonic Impact: When you hit a creature with an unarmed strike, you can spend 2 ki points to release a wave of sound. Each creature in a 10-foot cone originating from the target must make a Strength saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier) or take thunder damage equal to three rolls of your Martial Arts die and be knocked prone.
Symphony of Motion: Your movements are imbued with rhythm and grace. You gain an additional reaction per round, which can only be used to make an opportunity attack or reduce damage with Deflect Missiles.
Level 17: Song of the World At 17th level, you can attune to the vibrations of the world around you, channeling a symphony of power and unity. You gain the following abilities:
Harmony Unleashed: As an action, you can spend 4 ki points to create an aura of resonant energy within 60 feet of you for 1 minute. Choose one of the following effects: Inspire Unity: Allies in the aura regain hit points equal to your Wisdom modifier at the start of their turn and gain a +1 bonus to AC and saving throws. Sonic Wrath: Enemies in the aura must make a Constitution saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier) at the start of their turn. On a failure, they take thunder damage equal to your Martial Arts die and have disadvantage on attack rolls until the start of their next turn.
Finale Strike: Once per long rest, when you reduce a creature to 0 hit points with an unarmed strike, you can unleash a massive explosion of sound. Each creature of your choice within 60 feet must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier) or take 8d10 thunder damage, halved on a success.
