Way of Root and Soil (5e Subclass)
Way of Root and Soil[edit]
Monastic Tradition
Monks of the Way of Root and Soil form a close bond with the earth and the vegetation that sprout from it. By focusing your ki on your surroundings, you can manipulate the earth and vegetation around you to empower your unarmed strikes, shape it into creatures resembling woodland beings, cast spells and make the very earth tremble at your passing. Monks of the Way of the Root and Soil see themselves as guardians of nature and might sometimes settle in one area becoming extremely territorial and hostile to anyone or anything that might threaten natures balance. Younger monks of the Way of Roots and Soil are often in search of forests or groves in need of protection and might sometimes settle in such an area after vanquishing the threat to it.
