Flaming Body (Ex) When exposed to fire, a wax golem becomes sheathed in tongues of blue flame. A flaming wax golem takes 2d6 fire damage every round, and its slam attacks deal an extra 2d6 fire damage. Foes grappling with a flaming wax golem take 4d6 points of fire damage. The flames naturally snuff out in 1d10 rounds, and can be put out earlier in any way that would normally put out a flame.
Immunity to Magic (Ex) A wax golem is immune to any spell or spell-like ability that allows spell resistance, except that magical attack that deal fire damage function normally.
Tallow man.

The wizard still hasn't heard you when you creep up behind him: the old fool keeps on poring through the massive manuscript before him, illuminated by the glow of hundreds of tall candles. This is going to be so easy. But before you can surprise the wizard, a massive, misshapen hand takes hold of your arm gently but unescapably firmly. You grab the thick digits with your other hand, but your fingers sink helplessly into the malleable, lustrous mass.

Wax golems are most often created by wizards with a penchant for the ironic. Their laboratories are often lit by candles - why shouldn't they be defended by candles as well? Some wax golems are carefully sculpted into a bipedal candle form, but most are little more than lumps with hands and feet. Urban legend among wizards is that a wax golem can sometimes be naturally spawned from the wax that runs off of candles, and will avenge its molten brethren.

Wax golems approach foes relentlessly, smashing them with hamlike fists without any care for its own well-being. As mindless creatures, wax golems will only set themselves on fire if they've been ordered to by their creator, and then only if they have a fire available; that said, the creator might very well be present and have a fireball handy, saving the golem some time. When on fire, most golems have been ordered to start grappling foes.

A wax golem’s body is fashioned from 3,000 pounds of wax, the type of which doesn't matter much: it can be quality wax or secondhand tallow from burnt candles. The materials cost at least 1,000 gp. Assembling the body requires a DC 13 Craft (candle making) check.

CL 9th; Craft Construct, fire shield, forceful hand, geas/quest, caster must be at least 9th level; Price 30,000 gp; Cost 16,000 gp + 1160 XP.
