Warforged Variant[edit]

The warforged are hardly monoliths. People often created their own versions of warforged that tailored to their tastes of how a certain race looked, preferably their own. An example of this is the gnomeforged. Dwarven, human, and elven models are covered here.

This race variant implements subraces. The base warforged race has its ASI, integrated protection, and specialized design traits replaced.

Ability Score Increase. Your Constitution score increases by 1.

Living Construct. You were created to have remarkable fortitude, represented by the following benefits:

  • You have advantage on saving throws against being poisoned, and you have resistance to poison damage.
  • You don’t need to eat, drink, or breathe.
  • You are immune to diseases.
  • You don't need to sleep, and magic can't put you to sleep.

Sentry's Rest. When you take a long rest, you must spend at least six hours in an inactive, motionless state, rather than sleeping. In this state, you appear inert, but it doesn’t render you unconscious, and you can see and hear as normal.

Human Model[edit]

Ability Score Increase. One ability score of your choice other than Constitution increases by 2.
Extra Skill. You gain proficiency in one skill or tool of your choice.
Extra Language. You can speak, read, and write one extra language of your choice.

Dwarven Model[edit]

Ability Score Increase. Your Strength or Wisdom score increases by 2.
Size. Your size is Small instead of Medium.
Darkvision. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Dwarven Combat Training. You have proficiency with the battleaxe, handaxe, throwing hammer, and warhammer. You also have proficiency with light and medium armor.

Elvish Model[edit]

Ability Score Increase. Your Dexterity or Intelligence score increases by 2.
Darkvision. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Fey Ancestry. You have advantage on saving throws against being charmed.
Elvish Weapon Training. You have proficiency with longswords, shortswords, rapiers, shortbows, longbows, and hand crossbows.
