Warbreaker (5e Subclass)
Warbreaker[edit]
Fighter
There are fighters who decide that the best defense is a good offense. These are known as warbreakers, who charge into battle alongside their allies to break enemy lines.
- Bonus Proficiencies
At 3rd level, you gain proficiency in one of the following skills: Athletics or Intimidation. If you already are proficient in both skills, you can choose to learn a language instead.
- Line Breaker
When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you are a master in breaking lines of defense. When you hit a creature with a melee attack using Strength, that creature has Disadvantage on Strength (Athletics) checks made to resist the Shove action until the start of your next turn. This disadvantage lasts while the creature is within 5 feet.
- Breaking Attack
Starting at 3rd level when you choose this archetype, when an attack is made against a creature within 5 feet by a creature other than you, you can use your reaction to make an attack against that same creature, at advantage.
You can use this reaction a number of times equal to your Constitution modifier (minimum once) and regain your uses after finishing a long rest.
- Battle Surge
At 7th level, when you use your Action Surge, you regain hit points equal to 2d10 + your fighter level.
- Cut Them Down
At 10th level, when a creature stands from being prone, you can use your reaction to make an attack against that creature. On a hit, it is knocked prone again.
- Unbreakable
Starting at 15th level, when you use your Indomitable feature, you reroll the save at advantage.
- Warbreaker
At 18th level, your lust for battle gives you a boost. Whenever you hit with an attack using your Breaking Attack or Cut Them Down features, you regain 1d10 + 5 hit points if you are below half your maximum hit points.
