Physical Description[edit]
The vvirnieans are a somewhat short race of quasi-elves with long barbed tails and horned heads similar to that of a tiefling. Their skin is mostly chromatic and ranges from cold blues to warmer purples. Green is a rare color and marks a powerful sorcerer in their culture. Their canines are sharp and their eyes are as red as crimson blood.
History[edit]
A race of elvish descent, the vvirnieans are a supreme society which the world has feared for generations. Desiring to maintain independence, they refuse to fully integrate into the greater society of the Iron Territories. They are born of a caste of elves who dwelt deep within the mountain ranges of the northwestern area of the continent Paragion. The climate and environment are believed to have contributed greatly to their deviant appearance from that of mainstream elves. They also have deep connections to fiendish magic, with tentative origins, and are naturally talented with the blade.
Society[edit]
The vvirnieans live deep underground in their home territories to the north, building their homes within the mountain bodies as their ancestors have for centuries. They live in a magocratic monarchy where the strongest of the mages in society rule over them as demi-gods in status. Males are extremely common compared to females in population composition. To make up for this imbalance, males are taught from birth to accommodate for the fairer sex to ensure a harmonious relationship and stable birth rates. Due to this culture, sexism is much less present than other places.

The names of the vvirnieans are exotic, and sometimes use fiendish naming conventions, but nothing is concrete.

Female: Vi'ila, Al'hiara, Achmu'ud, Mis'tai
Vvirniean Traits[edit]

Ability Score Increase. Your Charisma score increases by 2 and your Strength score increases by 1.
Age. The average Vvirniean lives to a ripe old age of 900, although this is quite rare. They reach the equivalent of teenagedom at 85 years and reaches adulthood at 210.
Alignment. Any, but they tend to lean towards lawful or evil alignments.
Size. Your Size is Medium.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Darkvision. Thanks to your elvish and fiendish influence in your people's genetics, as well as centuries of living in caves, you are naturally equipped to see in the dark. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Fiendish Knowledge. As descendants of fiendish magics, you are proficient in the Arcana skill.
Magical Potency. You know one cantrip of your choice from the sorcerer spell list. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for it.
Vvirniean Bladesman. As your people are very naturally talented in the art of combat, you are proficient in the usage of a longsword if you are not already.
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and one other language of your choice.
