Void Clasher (5e Subclass)
Void Clasher[edit]
A Void Clasher is a subclass for the Fighter Class. Their power is only an extension of the warrior they are underneath and it only serves to help them in the fight. Masking themselves in this eldritch energy, they can empower themselves and weaken others all while unleashing their own style in battle.
- Restriction: Must have a Neutral Alignment
- Extracted Will
Starting at 3rd Level, you are endowed with the foreign energy you now label as Void. This grants you the ability to infuse your hits with Force Damage equal to 1d4. Increasing at levels 7, 10, 15, and 18 by d2. You may only use this feature 3 times per short or long rest, increasing by one every 7, 10, 15, and 20th level. You can use one of this feature to apply force damage to a maneuver from Abandoned Views.
- Combat Superiority
When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you learn maneuvers that are powered by special dice called superiority dice.
Abandoned Views. You learn three Abandoned Views of your choice. You can use only one abandoned view per turn. You learn two additional abandoned views of your choice at 7th, 10th, and 15th level. Each time you learn new abandoned views.
Superiority Dice. You have four superiority dice, which are d6s. A superiority die is expended when you use it. You regain all of your expended superiority dice when you finish a short or long rest. You gain another superiority die at 7th level and one more at 15th level.
Saving Throws. Some of your abandoned views require your target to make a saving throw to save themselves from its effects. The saving throw DC is calculated as follows:
- Abandoned Views save DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength or Dexterity modifier (your choice)
Your First Maneuver must be from the first four listed in the Abandoned Views tab.
- Iron Will
The Void is a cruel power, but with your continued exposure to it you have strengthened yourself. At 7th level, You gain the ability to pulse force damage in a small AOE Around you within 5 feet on a successful saving throw. The force damage is 1d6, increasing by d2 at level 10, 15, and 18. You may use this feature two times, replenishing every short or long rest.
- Un-Sundered
The Void has put you through trial's over and over again to break your limits, making you stronger and stronger. Whether it attacked you physically or mentally, you should be praised you made it this far, gaining access to Mortal Reminders. At 10th level, You can now place three mortal reminder's to your abandoned views, You cannot place a mortal reminder on the first four maneuver until 15th level. You can only place one mortal reminder on one of the first four abandoned views once every 15th, and 18th level, upgrading them to a new purpose. Your superiority dice turn into d10s. At 18th level, they turn into d12s.
- Apotheosis
Whether the Void has completely corrupted your being or you have learned to ascend beyond it, or maybe you have learned the balance between you and it. Starting at 15th level, Choose one of the first four maneuver's listed that you know to give the final upgrade too. when you roll initiative and have no superiority dice remaining, you regain 1 superiority die.
