Vinelings (5e Race)
From D&D Wiki
Vinelings[edit]
A plant-like people that don't take kindly to outsiders. With no solid form and being purely vines, they are not seen by a major species by a lot of people.
Physical Description[edit]
Vinelings are relatively large creatures without any real form. Simply constructed out of vines and the gifts of nature, they can be made of plant vines, or even roots of trees. The older a Vineling get, the bigger they become, and the more plants start growing from them.
History[edit]
Vinelings were born out of mother nature itself. They often live alone, but they can sometimes live in packs of 5-8 different Vinelings. Vinelings are not seen by many other species as intelligent, and they therefor often live away from other races. Their history is a complex, confusing mess for the most part, but that is something the Vinelings has learnt to overcome and not look back at the past, and instead adapt towards the future.
Society[edit]
Vineling's live either alone, or in packs of 5-8 different ones. There is no gender hierarchy, maybe because they don't have genders. They treat eachother equally, however Vinelings that are older and larger often gain more respect from other Vinelings. When a Vineling dies, they become one with nature, which VInelings respect dearly in their society, seing death as a great gift, not the end of something wonderful.
Vineling Names[edit]
Vineling's have no real naming schemes since they don't communicate verbally with eachother, and therefor have no need for names. However they can impliment into society, of which they will most likely pick names from that society to be refered as.
