Thorny. At the start of each of its turns, the vinegrown deals 5 (1d10) piercing damage to any creature grappling it or any creature it is grappling.

ACTIONS

Vine. Melee Weapon Attack: +0 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 1 bludgeoning damage and 2 (1d4) piercing damage. If the target is a Medium or smaller creature, it is grappled (escape DC 10). Until this grapple ends, the vinegrown can't use its vines on another target.

The vinegrown seedling is the second stage in the life of a vinegrown. The seedling appears as a cat-sized spider of thorny vines. They mainly live in jungles or large forests. If attacked they usually run from their attacker. If hunting or in large groups they climb trees and drop on foes, seeking to entrap them and impale them with their thorns.
