Versatile Wizard (Pathfinder Wizard Archetype)
From D&D Wiki
Versatile Wizard (simple)[edit]
This is an archetype of the Wizard class.
Rigor mortis results in inflexibility. Too often, the reverse is also true.
Versatile Wizard Features[edit]
Arcane Pool (Su): Your wizard levels stack with your magus levels for the purpose of the arcane pool ability. If you have no magus levels, you gain an arcane pool which has a number of points equal to 1/2 your wizard level (minimum 1) + your Intelligence modifier. You cannot use this arcane pool to enhance a melee weapon as can a magus until you gain one or more magus levels. Your arcane pool refreshes once per day when you prepare your spells.
This replaces arcane bond.
Spell Recall (Su): At 1st level, you can use your arcane pool to recall spells you have already cast. With a swift action you can recall any single wizard spell that you have already prepared and cast that day by expending a number of points from your arcane pool equal to the spell’s level (minimum 1). The spell is prepared again, just as if it had not been cast.
Improved Spell Recall (Su): At 11th level, your ability to recall spells using your arcane pool becomes more efficient. Whenever you recall a spell with spell recall, you expend a number of points from your arcane pool equal to 1/2 the spell’s level (minimum 1). Furthermore, instead of recalling a used spell, as a swift action you can prepare a spell of the same level that you have in your spellbook. You do so by expending a number of points from your arcane pool equal to the spell’s level (minimum 1). You cannot apply metamagic feats to a spell prepared in this way. You do not need to reference your spellbook to prepare a spell in this way.
