Shifter Subrace[edit]
Venomfang shifters are insidious and cruel, typically tied to venomous snakes, as well as any other venomous animals. You may have serpentine scales, jaw, eyes, or tongue.
Ability Score Increase. Your Dexterity score increases by 2, and your Constitution score increases by 1.
Slithering Switch. You have proficiency with the Sleight of Hand skill. If you are already proficient with this skill, you gain proficiency with another skill of your choice.
Shifting Feature. Once per turn while shifted, when you hit a creature with an attack you can deal additional poison damage equal to your Constitution modifier. While shifted, you can also use your venomous fangs to make an unarmed strike as a bonus action. If you hit with your fangs, you can deal piercing damage equal to 1d6 + your Strength modifier, instead of the bludgeoning damage normal for an unarmed strike, and if you add the additional poison damage to this attack it is twice your Constitution modifier.
