Velour[edit]

My parents once told me "You're gonna out grow that someday!" after I got a new plush. Well it has been 32 years and I still love them all the same.

Physical Description[edit]

Velour are soft and plush constructs that used plushies and dolls as a base. Thus, they were made to mimic various animals or people and can take a variety of shapes and sizes, these differences tend to reflect the creator of the aforementioned Velour and their wants for that plush to represent. A Velour could be a small doll given motion to dance alongside their mistress, or just a big ol' lovable bear to bring joy to it's owner. Usually they have stubby arms and legs but it's not unheard of to see a Velour without limbs hopping around. Being happy all the same.

Society[edit]

Seeing as Velour tend to be made by Wizards seeking a stuffed companion they usually tend to serve as mindless constructs. However within the last few century more Wizards have thought to give these constructs life. With this and natural causes making the race slowly more common place. This tends to leave the Velour longing for a family to call it's own.

Velour Names[edit]

Velour tend to be named either by their original owner, or their first real friend. Usually these names either reflect the animal/creature they are, or they represent their plush qualities. But generally most names work for these creatures.

Velour: Teddy, Ethan, Spot, Edwardo, Strawberry, Mr. Big, Dark Lord, Toaster, Big Dog, Lemon, Tutka, Zannder, Red Light
