Veil wurms reside in frigid regions of the world, diaphanous wings wrapped around their bodies like elegant shawls. Among wurms, they are the fastest and most graceful in the air and also the most comfortable with flying. Veil wurms are nocturnal, emerging on frosty nights and particularly when an aurora can be seen. During the day, they bury themselves beneath the snow and sleep. |
