Valor Domain[edit]

Cleric Subclass

In the rocky trails of the mountains, a clan of dwarves send up a prayer as they prepare to defend their homelands from encroaching invaders. Elsewhere, in a secluded woods, a young elf pleads with her goddess to shield her as she ambushes the bandits that took her family from her. Whether warriors by nature or by chance, the gods and goddesses of battle and valor are listening - ready to embrace would-be faithfuls into their folds and give them the gifts they need to act as their champions. For some, serving a deity of battle means striving for a specific world vision - such as the eradication of one's enemies or protection of one's loved ones. For others, simply engaging in each and every combat with honor and valor is enough to please these deities. These 'Clerics of Valor' are holy warriors capable of mending and inflicting injury with a blend of martial and mystical prowess. Akin to paladins in spirit, these individuals are driven by their faith and duty to stand on the frontline of the battlefield rather than supporting from the reserves.

Domain Spells

Upon selecting this domain, the cleric is granted a small selection of spells as they progress in level. These spells are considered to always be prepared and do not count against the total number of spells the cleric may have prepared at a give time.

Fortitude of the Faithful

Your devotion to a deity of battle has rewarded you with enhanced resilience and heightened tactical awareness. At 1st level, your hit point maximum increases by 1 and increases by 1 again whenever you gain a level in this class.

Channel Divinity: Weapon of Valor

By 2nd-level, you have gained enough favor with your deity to invoke their blessing during combat. As a bonus action on your turn, you may expend one use of your Channel Divinity ability. For 1 minute, your currently held weapon is sheathed in wispy divine energy. While enchanted, your weapon emits bright light in a 10-foot radius and dim light for an additional 10 feet.

For the duration, you may add your Wisdom modifier to the attack and damage rolls you make with that weapon (in addition to your normal modifiers) and you may replace that weapon's damage type with radiant damage.

Holy Warrior

At 6th level, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn with a melee weapon or cast a cleric spell, you can make an attack as a bonus action.

Calm During The Storm

By 8th level, you've learned to keep your mind in a continuously calm state despite what's going on around you. You gain Advantage on any saving throws to maintain concentration.

Champion of Valor

By 17th level, you have become a living avatar for your deity's purpose. You gain resistance to slashing, piercing, and bludgeoning damage from nonmagical attacks while wearing heavy armor.
