"The battle raged on for days. On the sixth day the great warrior fell as the sun set. The next day, as if by the hand of the gods themselves, the warrior arose, even more powerful than before and radiating the light of heaven."
This spell powerful spell is reserved for times of dire need, because of the expensive material component: legendstone. Calling on the power of the gods, the caster may sacrifice a piece of legendstone in exchange for the life of a fallen ally. The dead creature may only be brought back if they have fallen in battle and only after a night has passed since their death. Any entity that's soul has been destroyed or has witnessed the Phedigurum cannot be brought back from death by any means, even by a deity.
After the spell is cast, the moment dawn breaks, the subject of the spell is resurrected on the spot where they died. The subject returns to life with extraordinary vigor (full hit points, no negative status effects, damage of all kinds completely healed, any sickness/curses/infections completely removed). Additionally, the subject returns even more powerful than before their death, coming back with +1 permanent levels. Furthermore, the subject radiates heavenly power, causing every item on their person to gain a +1 enhancement bonus, and radiate [light] 5 ft. outwards, as well as a +1 to attacks, damage and AC for 24 hours.
When the spell is cast, the magical force is completely sucked from the legendstone, transforming it into a lump of burnt, ashy coal.
Material Component: A sprinkle of holy water and 1 oz. legendstone (Value 50,000 gp).
XP Cost: 1000 XP
