Tiefling Subrace[edit]
The Lady of Nightmares, Vaermina is the daedric prince of dreams, nightmares, and evil omens. Tieflings of her descent often have vicious, serpentine appearances, with nightmarish features, and a delight drawn from the horror and despair of others. The Dreamweaver's power manifests in her children through supernatural control of others' fear and dreams.
Ability Score Increase. Your Wisdom score increases by 1.
Legacy of the Quagmire. You know the horrifying gaze cantrip. Once you reach 3rd level, you can cast the sleep spell once. Once you reach 5th level, you can cast the razored thoughts spell once. You must finish a long rest to cast one of these spells again with this trait. Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells when you cast them with this trait (choose when you select this race).
Nightmarish Resistance. You have resistance to psychic damage, and have advantage on saving throws made to avoid or end the frightened condition. This replaces the Hellish Resistance trait.
