Orc Warlord's Lodge[edit]

A list of locations found in the orc warlord's lodge. The lodge is a savage place, decorated with skulls and human skin. There are a total of 6 rooms, and the whole thing is built into the side of a cliff, so all the rooms are on one level, but the cliff is at a slightly higher level than the ground outside the entrance.

  1. Main hall (throne, fireplace, three chairs, two tables)
  2. Kitchen (Pit of boiling oil, a large pot, a large stone slab for cutting things, a pile of rocks, a pile of bones)
  3. Dining hall (a table and 4 chairs, a fireplace)
  4. Small hall (Trap door to torture chamber below, a chair, a desk, a bookshelf)
  5. Bedroom (Human-skin rug, secret passageway, a bed, a closet)
  6. Bathroom (A beautifully tiled bathtub, secret passageway)

The treasure is hidden in the fireplace in room #4. It's an old, heavy leather bag full of gold coins.


The Master Inventors Guild[edit]

This is a high fantasy campaign, with magic spells, clockwork inventions, lots of drama. A random encounter table for the Master Inventors Guild in Greater Yaerthmoore. What can be found inside the guild?

  1. The Guildmaster: a fat man with a white beard, wearing a red robe. He has a pet cat named Mr. Puffington, who is always nearby. The cat is friendly.
  2. A clockwork device: a half-finished project, a small clockwork dog sits on a workbench, waiting to be given life. Perhaps the dog could be given life by a magical spell. The dog could follow the PCs around.
  3. A book: a book of mathematical equations, filled with magical formulae. The book is on a pedestal in the centre of the room. There is an inscription on the pedestal: "This book is property of the Master Inventors Guild. Do not remove from the guild".
  4. A teacher: a very thin, strict man, always wearing a purple robe. He is teaching a group of apprentices how to build clockwork devices. The students are hard at work, and do not wish to be distracted.
  5. A student: a young man, wearing a green robe, who is working on a clockwork device. If the PCs are interested in clockwork, he offers to teach them how to make a clockwork device. He will also teach them how to make a small clockwork dog.
  6. A half-finished project: a small clockwork bird sits on a workbench. The bird is missing one wing. The bird is missing a spring.


Science Fiction Trinkets[edit]

  1. Crystals discovered on a nearby moon that can be used for crafting or sold for currency.
  2. Light shielding from a spacecraft that didn't survive combat that is a piece of junk.
  3. ATV that has a dented hood and runs better than most personal vehicles but much louder.
  4. Shot up oxygen tank that always rattles no matter what you do.
  5. Oxygen mask with a cracked visor that is unpleasant to use.
  6. Rations for triple the standard number of days.
  7. Bottle of good alien booze that is 50% alcohol.
  8. Robotic arm that works well with most AIs but not always helpful.
  9. Radio that has similarly alien music already programmed into it.
  10. HDD with ancient military tech that is difficult to extract information from.
  11. Pill bottle labeled 'not safe for human ingredients' but makes you resemble an alien alien.
  12. Sunglasses with a bug detector function. Useful in a pest infested ship but hazardous if used on a normal stroll.
  13. Weapons from a failed attack by a long ago enemy.
  14. Nostalgic music recorded by a long gone species as it failed to wipe out another species and then it failed to survive.
  15. Recorder filled with foreign language songs. If a xenolinguist were to hear this, they might learn a new language.
  16. Fossilized remains of a humanoid alien that might illuminate the ancient culture's society.
  17. Corrupted biological weapon that has a wealth of information regarding the biology of a specimen locked in its data.
  18. A wallet or purse filled with alien currency that gives clues into how it was made. Some coins are rare.
  19. Ancient sack of seeds that were in storage too long. The contents may be radioactive or mutated.
  20. Remains of a suit of crumpled alien armor that has a lot of technological advances but maybe irradiated.
  21. Ancient alien weapon. This is a corroded and probably broken weapon but could still shoot in a pinch.
  22. Hardened and a bit radioactive multicolored cube that has ancient technology data machines have a hard time decoding.
  23. Empty glass book that has several broken pages and likely lots of blank pages.
  24. Magnifying sunglasses that give you important scans of things on the ground you look at, such as life signs before you step on it.
  25. A robotic hand that is the right size to fit on an individual and work as well as their actual hand.
  26. A dog android pet. This is a high class pet that has extensive training but its data is volitic and it drips liquid oils.
  27. An advanced AI that does nothing when you're not looking
  28. A surveillance drone that is lost and always off or on but never the right one for you.
  29. AI interface for your smart phone that cannot perform advanced human skills but does know a lot about alien skills.
  30. Bug detector that can hear future bugs. This is useful for alerting you to avoid dangerous situations before you enter them.
  31. Laughing gas dispenser belt that has been calibrated to trust the owner of this belt while attacking everyone else.
  32. Paperclip making android that is badly damaged. Some parts of it can be removed to supply essential medical needs.
  33. Strange dirt in a medicine vial that smells like lemon. Just mix it with water and drink once a day to stay healthy.
  34. A small rodent, colored black with red tiger stripes, with a long, fluffy, white tail and two heads. It has a strong sense of smell and can detect poisons in the air in a hundred foot radius of itself. You've had it as a pet since you were a young child.
  35. A black and red scarf with a heavy tiger stripe pattern woven from some type of unknown fuzzy material. The fibers of the scarf exude a strong coating liquid when squeezed, which is scentless. Rubbing two together against their normal lay causes the scarf fibers to cling together and create a tough, but flexible surface. This property can be harvesed from the scarves once a day.
  36. A card with a mag-rail ticket to Bald Hill Station.
  37. A drone that doubles as a ring or bracelet made by the same alien species who constructed the Grand Portal. It's versatile and friendly, though only really useful around water, oceans in particular.
  38. Personalized decorative gel wrap on a weapon or tool of your choice. The gel wrap is luminescent and customizable by pattern. The gel is strong and capable of soaking up organic toxins with no effect on you.
  39. A telescope, laser pointer and telekenetic signaling device. They don't all function at once, but the object has three 'modes' that you can toggle through.
  40. A glass of water that is filled with an unnaturally forming crystal affectionally called a "snowflake" on the inner glass surface. These crystals form no matter what the temperature or type of liquid. The specifics of their shape and pattern resonates with the space-time field in a way that cannot be replicated artificially. When exposed to rifts the crystal begins to separate from the space-time continuum and becomes a sort of window into a fourth spatio-temporal dimension. The precise applications for this phenomenon remain unknown.
  41. Empty Nutrient pills, you can fill these pills with any food or drink you want.
  42. A communications implant which allows the user to understand any language, however, it is currently out of battery
  43. Metal casts of teeth, along with a receipt from a reputable dental clinic
  44. Mechandise displaying the logo of a well known reality show
  45. Correspondence course certificates in subjects like superconductor maintenance or firearms operation
  46. Cybernetic eye with panoramic vision
  47. Ka Hai, laser sword. It will auto-fire when it detects certain hormonal response.
  48. The head part of Terminator, it runs on an old operating system (Windows 7) and battery for few hours unless if it uses Windows 10.
  49. Skener (scanner/scanner as a double meaning). Two phones attached to each other, where one can talk to another realm. This phone runs out of battery easily, and it takes up one spell point to power up
  50. Unfinished paintings. When picked up, one of these paintings become no longer painting but projection is turned on, creating a holograph of the painting. The painting can last up to one day. After the projection finish, a phone call will be sent to whoever did the painting related to their guilt or action.

  53. Robot cup for eating (kawa-robot cup). Attached with a small computer chip, this cup can consume any drinkable in form of liquid or solid.

  55. A set of gold tubes working together to create a shiny and luster sound.
  56. Neurofibry regeneration helmet, which can help with understanding foreign lanuage for one hour.
  57. Meta-Prosthesis, a small knife that is shaped like a bracelet.
  58. A camera lens which has infinite zoom function.
  59. A small black box device which can create an EDM song. A bad electronic sound created in a room. The person will be admitted to the hospital bed for a day or two.
  60. A Jar of Potion, any drink other than alcoholic beverage will become alcohol

  88. A lighter with the image of earth burned into it. Always works, never runs out.
  89. Rusty iron restraints with glowing runes etched into them.
  90. A candy bar that gives you increased muscle mass, but superintelligence.
  91. A manual that describes how to maintain and repair a piece of equipment you don’t have, or a piece of equipment that doesn’t exist. The manual is written in a language you can read, but you can't actually understand the content.
  92. A holographic projection of a giant robot that you can use for intimidation. It doesn't actually do anything.
  93. A can of a beverage that has been banned because it causes violence. It probably doesn't do that, but you don't know for sure.
  94. A combat simulation program that runs without a computer. It's a very old program that's been modified by someone, but it's not clear exactly how it works.
  95. A holo-recording of an alien ceremony that seems to be a wedding; the recording plays audio in an unknown language. You can't play the audio, but you can view the ceremony.
  96. An energy weapon designed for someone with three hands. You can't use the weapon without a third hand, but it could be useful for trading.
  97. A piece of equipment that causes your hair to grow very fast. This equipment is illegal in some places, but it works.
  98. A tool designed to repair alien machinery. It might also be used for other purposes, but it's not clear what else it can do.
  99. A pair of goggles that let you see in the dark. They only work in the dark, but they work well.
  100. A device that makes your voice sound like a famous celebrity. You can't control the voice, but it's a good voice.
