Overall I have several character concepts. A faithless historian aasimar with loyalies tied to a wyrm. A warforged who hadn't been given permission to take a name before his creators civilation was wiped away with him trapped within ruins of the old world. And an actor/stagehand with a deadly artistic vision whos services go towards only the most generous and worthy of patrons. Which one of these do you think will best fit with the group/overall game, and b) be most fitting thematically for your setting and personal style.--Gr7mm Bobb (talk) 07:34, 27 January 2017 (MST)

Okay decision made, gonna go with the Warforged for now. I'll keep the other 2 concepts on the back burner for now.--Gr7mm Bobb (talk) 10:03, 27 January 2017 (MST)

Um... there's no character here... You can make whatever you think is fun! A warforged would be interesting because he would almost certainly be a living relic. He'd occupy a very unique place in council law. --Kydo (talk) 11:14, 27 January 2017 (MST)

Request[edit]

For some reason the Forge domain, as written in the UA, does not provide the wielder with proficiency in smith's tool or all hammers. Really weird to me seeing as how similar to the Tempest and War it is. IDK, up to you dm.--Gr7mm Bobb (talk) 13:33, 31 January 2017 (MST)

Background Feature: Discovery[edit]

How would you like to try and work out my background feature? <quote>The quiet seclusion of your extended hermitage gave you access to a unique and powerful discovery. The exact nature of this revelation depends on the nature of your seclusion. It might be a great truth about the cosmos, the deities, the powerful beings of the outer planes, or the forces of nature. It could be a site that no one else has ever seen. You might have uncovered a fact that has long been forgotten, or unearthed some relic of the past that could rewrite history. It might be information that would be damaging to the people w ho or consigned you to exile, and hence the reason for your return to society. Work with your DM to determine the details of your discovery and its impact on the campaign.</quote> I have a couple of ideas swimming around, and I feel that the we could easily incorporate the Adamantine Scroll case with my past + proficiency with the history skill to reason out a conclusion that would have been lost to time or even hidden/locked away.--Gr7mm Bobb (talk) 19:39, 2 February 2017 (MST)

Id like to watch your character play out a bit more. Let the players learn more about the world, actually invent more of the world myself. Once I see a good empty space that suits your character, I'll talk to you about maybe bringing yourt RP feature into play. It's a narrative focused feature, so it needs to be something we can use.. --Kydo (talk) 21:23, 6 February 2017 (MST)
Two thumbs way WAAYyy up. :), Also I'm trying to work on establishing a narrative with a character who speaks very little, but for some reason always feels judgmental in my head. Anyway, I'm glad Etch is as well recieved as he is atm.--Gr7mm Bobb (talk) 22:30, 6 February 2017 (MST)
