To Do Before Implementing[edit]

  • Get input from other admins and users
  • Write about 200 words for each description.
    • Considering this is going to remain static and appear on the front page, it should sell the page, rather than be the first two paragraphs
  • Check to make sure each of the 10 pages appear nice when loaded (this can be done by refreshing the sandbox, where the new template has been tested)

Use[edit]

I noticed you are looking for feedback above.

I feel that we do not need the FAs to be cycled through on the Main Page. Here are the steps I feel that an individual takes with a new FA.

  1. See how it fits into their campaign. Is it a revised third edition campaign or a fourth edition campaign? Would the players have to rethink their progression?
  2. Move the players into a situation where the FA can be put into their campaign, for example the Derro (4e Creature) would be approached in the Underdark, or continue playing until the players can attain their progression.
  3. Implement the FA into the campaign.
  4. Repeat as necessary.

Since this is the case I feel that cycling through the FAs on the Main Page would actually be counterproductive to many peoples' campaigns.

I am all for getting more articles to be FAs. By all means step up here and take some initiative. --Green Dragon 09:58, 31 January 2012 (MST)
