Half-Goblin[edit]
Of Two Worlds[edit]
Half-Goblins are seen by Goblins as too-Human, and by Humans as too-Goblin. The size of a Half-Goblin is exactly in between that of a Human, and that of a Goblin, with a Base Height of 121 cm or 3'11". Unlike both Humans and Goblins, however, the size and weight of a Half-Goblin does not depend on gender, with a Base Weight of 32kg or 70 lbs. Their skin tends to take greens, olives, peaches, and brown shades, although some have pigments of greys or pinks (though it is rare). Their hair ranges from browns, greens, blacks, blues, blonds, and reds, though blue or black is the most common. Their eyes are most commonly brown, green, blue, red, or black, and the scleroses of their eyes are most commonly off-white (though they can lean into either yellow or white).
History[edit]
Because of their incredible adaptability and versatility, seeing a half-goblin isn't as rare as one might think. These types of goblins can be found almost anywhere, but for a more "sophisticated" Goblin, it is very easy to see them among other humanoids, like Halflings, Gnomes, Humans, and Dwarves.
As naturally curious beings, they search for adventure -- maybe they want to find other Half-Goblins or want to climb the ranks of a more well-adapted society than theirs. Almost any reason can be found from this creative and adventurous bunch.
Society[edit]
They often begin adventuring only a few years after reaching maturity, but young Half-Goblins can still be found. When making a Half-Goblin, it is important to consider what kind of society were they raised in. Are they the rare offspring of an evil party of thieving goblins, or a goblin abandoned into a human society with an unnatural upbringing? On top of this, consider how well they fit in. It is not uncommon to find these goblins cast out or mistreated no matter where they live.
Half-Goblin Names[edit]
A Half-Goblin's name is entirely dependent on their childhood. Were they raised within a Goblin tribe, or were they brought up in a human society? Pick a name that fits their upbringing and/or heritage. Below you'll find examples for both Human and Goblin names.
Male Human: Fodel, Kosef, Luth, Ramas, Ivor, Geth, Stor
