Large undead, chaotic evil Armor Class 17 (natural armour)
Saving Throws Str +6, Con +6, Wis +5 Wither. Creatures touched or hit by the WIther must make a DC 16 Constitution saving throw or they become withered, being poisoned and taking 2d8 damage at the start of each of their turns. A creature is able to retry the saving throw after taking the damage. Wither's Armor If the Wither's HP falls below half of its maximum, it gains +2 to its AC and it becomes glowing blue, emitting dim light out to 10 ft. ACTIONSMultiattack. The wither makes two Flying Skull attacks, or one Flying Skull and one Explosive Flying Skull attacks. It can then release a Wither Cloud or Armor Charge. Flying Skull. Ranged Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, range 50/150 ft. one target. Hit: 16 (3d8 + 3) necrotic damage. Explosive Flying Skull. (Recharge 5-6) Ranged Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, range 50/150 ft. one target. Hit: 16 (3d8 + 3) necrotic damage, plus creatures within a 20 ft. radius must make a DC 16 Dexterity check or take 13 (3d8) bludgeoning damage, half on a success. Wither Cloud. The Wither releases noxious gases within 10 feet, dealing 4 (1d8) necrotic damage to all creatures and making them roll to not be withered. Charge Armor. The Wither charges electricity around it, gaining a +2 to its AC until the start of the next turn. In addition, anyone who tries to melee attack the wither while its armor is charged takes 5 (1d10) lightning damage. REACTIONSDash. When an enemy targets an area the wither is with an attack that forces it to make a saving throw, it can use its reaction to dash up to half its speed straight line, phasing through obstacles and creatures. Any creature it passes through rolls to not be withered. |
A fearsome, three-headed undead. Said to be the a minor lord of its own fortress in hell, commanding other wither skeletons to its whims. This creature will attack any and all it sees if it is ever summoned. Rarely, there have come along minecrafters who have tamed it, if only for a time. |
