A thin figure in studded black leather armor, Gekkouga has a face similar to the typical elf, but with very short purple hair and blue eyes. He talks with a less noticeable elvish accent and makes frequent hand gestures when speaking. He has twin black-stained steel katars strapped to his legs which he draws and wields with the speed and fluidity of someone who has practiced and trained for years. If you look closely at his veins, they are lime green and he smells like a ocean breeze.
A humorous sea elf who, unlike other elves, is not aloof. He is extremely creative, which is apparent from the weapons he forges.
- Moradin (By practicing metalworking, thanking Moradin after every successful item made, and by praying and burning incense at a small altar in the smithy) and Istishia (By praying and burning incense at a second small altar in the smithy)
- I have a sense of humor. Shocking, I know.
- Sarcasm and insults are my true weapons of choice.
- Fairness. I never offer overpriced goods to people who can’t afford to lose a few coins.
- I will defend those I care about with the weapons I forge
- I don't take criticism well. I get REALLY defensive.
- I have anger issues, which doesn't go well when I'm hold large amounts of sharp objects.
Orphaned at birth and never knowing his parents, Gekkouga was adopted and raised by kind elvish foster parents. His foster parents where murdered by the notorious elf-slaying orc known as Wraith when the young elf was 96 (about 12 for a human), and he was adopted yet again by the old dwarf who was a blacksmith of the forge Gekkouga now owns at the time. Gekkouga was taught the craft of weapon forging, and when the dwarf passed away, inherited and took over the smithy where he works at the beginning of the campaign. Due to his main upbringing by a dwarf as well as him being a black smith caused him to worship Moradin, the dwarf god of creation, and being a sea elf, Istishia, god of water, to a lesser extent.
