Hello, and welcome to my user page![edit]
I'm relatively new to this site compared to most people, but please bear with me! I was introduced to D&D so long ago that I've forgotten (probably 2014...?)– but had never actually committed to actually finishing a campaign; though I never expressed much interest in it: MTG was my go-to. My father actually rekindled my interest in D&D with some of his incredibly old books (which he owned in college) and small things like trap manuals and mini dungeons. I started visiting a Game Store which ran D&D Adventurer's League, and that's where my memories really start. Unfortunately, due to the nature of AL, I jumped between campaigns rather frequently (they ran 3 different tables at once for each level group, and each volunteer DM ran a different campaign), and never got to see one through to the end. Eventually, Covid came around and I decided that was as good of a time as any other to commit back in March of 2020 and set out into the Jungles of Chult as my Light Cleric of Amaunator— Mercy Winterdew. Speaking of Chult, that was my first campaign I ever played in with a group of friends I met at a tech camp. In terms of classes, I mainly play Cleric, but have since slowly started branching out to other classes like Wizard, Sorcerer, Bard, and Pally. I've lurked on this Wiki for a rather long time, and finally decided to make an account.
In terms of passion projects relating to D&D, I've written countless hours and drafts of backstory for characters both of my and others creation. Even a mediocre backstory makes a character infinitely more fun to play— they're probably a bit more interesting to the other players as well! As of now, it's nearly been a year since I joined a Tomb of Annihilation campaign that I'm looking forwards to finishing (March 30th is the anniversary!) On top of that, I've 'documented' the entire thing with the permission of my DM, both in character and in third person. Depending on how it turns out, I may even consider publishing my adventures online somewhere... for now it's still in the works.
Anyways, that's pretty much everything that should be mentioned about myself.
