Hell Wanderer[edit]

Whether on some quest or a wild venture into the depths of hell, you have failed. Having somehow lost your method of transportation for leaving Hell, you have been left alone to eventually be overcome by the essence of evil that is this plane. Thankfully to a strong connection to your holy Patron, you've been able to cleanse your soul of any possible infestations of your being. Sadly, living in Hell for years is a life-changing experience in itself, and it forever has an effect on you. Starting off, how and why did you first enter Hell? How many years have you spent in Hell? How did you manage to get by and survive in Hell, facing any encounters with devils, if any? How did you finally leave Hell, and made it back to the Material Plane? What changes to your personality did this cause? While many things have happened, your faith to your patron have always been just and righteous, letting you to leave uncorrupted in the first place.

Skill Proficiencies: Insight or Perception.

Tool Proficiencies: None.

Languages: Infernal and one other language.

Equipment: Travelers clothes, black, burnt, and still covered with ash and a small notebook you kept as a diary over the years spent in Hell.

Moths to the Flame[edit]

After wandering through Hell for years, cleansing your soul to stay pure has caught the attention of many Devils. Depending on how long you stayed in Hell, more and more Devils have come to know you or of you. Like moths to a flame, Devils might go out of their way to find you and tempt you for your soul. Devils you find on your own might recognize you and will probably act different based on that knowledge. A devil who would originally kill an intruder might instead capture them for the chance of not only corrupting the soul but gain the renown as a result of obtaining such a hard to obtain merchandise.

Feature: Paranoia[edit]

Having spent so long in Hell you encountered many devils in conversation or passerby, and have come to understand and recognize, somewhat, how they communicate to people of interest. You have advantage on insight and perception checks when faced with devils.
