Characteristic: Paints a red band around the midsection of his beak.
Skyr's clan resemble large corvids with black feathers and red down. Their beaks are very thin, vertically, giving them a knife-like appearance. Skyr himself paints a red band around his beak; a style he picked up from his pirating days. He keeps his clothing modest and dark like his feathers, though he secretly wears jewellery and other attractive accessories under the clothes, where others cannot reach them.
Personality[edit]
Skyr is stern and cold in most regards, but with his allies after work, he opens up completely, and will sing, cackle, and dance as freely as he would swing a punch for a mild insult. He has a better grasp of how to express himself to creatures who can't read his chirps than most in his species, (He uses exaggerated language and hand gestures to emphasize his meaning) but when taken by strong emotion, tends to forget. Above all, he believes people should follow a code of conduct benefiting the group, regardless of moral decisions. If it would save his whole team, he would willingly sacrifice any one of them.

Backstory[edit]
Skyr was a sky-pirate in the elemental plane of air, a deviant among his race and his clan. An elemental storm carried his crew's airship into the material plane through a portal at its center, and smashed it against the side of a cliff. The whole crew died, but Skyr sruvived. He became a feared bandit, raiding the roads for survival. He may seem lawless, but actually strictly adheres to the pirates code and is fiercly loyal to his organization; he just has no respect for the concept of personal property. He has recently determined that returning home would be far more expense than he could imagine and, after assessing his options, has decided to make the most of his new home. Given his particular skills and abilities, he has decided to become an adventurer.
