Roaster[edit]
The roaster is a master of painful remarks, mockery and pointing out flaws.
- Bonus Proficiencies
When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with the disguise kit and poisoner's kit.
- Insult to Injury
Beginning at 3rd level, you have advantage on attack rolls against any creature that has not yet taken an action since their last initiative roll. Additionally, you score an automatic critical hit when you attack a creature that is surprised.
- Takes One to Know One
Beginning at 9th level, you can spend seven days and 25 gp to create a false identity for yourself. You establish that identity's history, profession, and affiliations. You can't assume an identity that belongs to someone else. After you establish this new identity, others believe you to be that person unless given an obvious reason to assume otherwise.
- Copycat
Beginning at 13th level, you can flawlessly mimic other people's speech, handwriting, and behavior. You must spend three hours observing these behaviors of whoever you are trying to mimic: listening to the target speaking, observing their writings, and examining mannerisms. Afterwards, the casual observer believes you to be that person unless given an obvious reason not to. You have advantage on any Charisma (Deception) checks to avoid the identification of your false identity.
- Painful Jab
Starting at 17th level, when you hit with your attack against a surprised creature, that creature must succeed on a Constitution saving throw with a DC equal to 8 + your Dexterity modifier + your proficiency bonus or take twice the damage from your attack than it otherwise would.
