A large gentle race
Ability Score Increase. Your Wisdom score increases by 1.
Age. Tooswars reach maturity in their early 20's and reach 450 to 500 years old
Alignment. Their calm and gentle natures tend them away from chaotic and evil alignments but those that do are normally bitter individuals.
Size. Tooswars are more tall than big and are not heavier than some medium races, their height ranges from 8 feet to 10 feet. Your size is Large. The effects of being large are explained below.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Frail body. With weapons, you count as one size smaller and when you are grappling creatures larger than you (but not when you are being grappled), you are incapacitated.
Calming bulk. You have advantage on charisma checks to calm and reassure others
Magic Sense. You can cast detect magic subtly as a bonus action and without concentration once between rests.
Being Large. You take up a 10x10 ft space,
Your carrying capacity is doubled,
You normally are able to wield large weapons which deal double medium weapons damage but the frail body feature prevents you from doing so,
You can grapple huge creatures but frail body causes you to be incapacitated when you do so (this is to prevent you from grappling then shoving huge creatures which makes them a lot easier to deal with),
Medium and small creatures can ride you,
Small creatures can move through your space and you can move through their space,
Huge creatures cannot move through your space and vice versa,
You require four times the food and drink a medium creature does
The enlarge spell is extra useful on you
You will struggle to find cover and concealment
You have to squeeze through 5 foot wide gaps and cannot go through smaller gaps
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and one other language of your choice.
