Over the next few weeks I will be uploading my rather ambitious homebrew campaign setting, the 9fires.

The 9fires is not a standard D&D or even a standard d20 game. Taking hints from such works as Iron Heroes and Unearthed Arcana, I have reworked the entire ruleset to be just a little nastier, a little more feral, a whole lot more flexible and I say with no hint of modesty, more fun.

My project has been more than 18 years in development and has seen dozens of incarnations, from the old, gray box (I still have my wax d20 and the original crayon) to a bastardized, rip off of the Storyteller and then dreampod 9's silhouette system. Now it has been incarnated into the best damn game ever, D&D 3.5.

My first contributions here are a couple of the native races of the Mittelhelm, the core world of my campaign. I also fix spelling mistakes and grammatic errors where and whenever I find them.

I will appologize now for my formatting skills, while playing NWN 1 I taught myself C++ just so I could make a PW, however my HTML (if thats what we're using here) is a little rough, but patience and diligence are two things I have little of, so we'll just have to make due, yes? >;)
