Undead Specialist (3.5e Optimized Character Build)

Introduction[edit]

A character meant for campagnes that specificaly fight undead, such as those which use Libris Mortis or Heroes of Horror.

  • and the possible option of either a Sacred or Sacred Burst weapon of your choice

Progression[edit]

Starting Ability Scores (Before Racial Adjustments): Charisma is the most important of the ability scores while Wisdom is important for casting spells, remember Clerics are always atleast secondary healers. Constitution will make you more hardyand more resilient to death and negative energy attacks or effects. Strength will affect your possible carreer as a melee combatant.

  • Str: Medium (12-15)
  • Dex: Low (8-11)
  • Con: Medium (12-15)
  • Wis: High (16-18)
  • Int: Low (8-11)
  • Cha: High (16-18)


  • Race : Human.
  • Alignment: Lawful Good.
  • Domains: Glory Doman and Fire Domain. Glory will increase your turning damage and turning check modifier Fire will allow you to take the Light of Aurifar Feat.

  • Turning Check: (1d20+Cha Modifier) +2 (Glory Domain) +2 (Sacred Shield) +2 (Knowledge: Religion) + Heighten Turning
  • Do not forget the use of you Disciple of the Sun, Greater Turning, Positive Energy Burst, or even your cleric spells that could also increase your turning abilities and melee abilities.

Munchkin-Size Me[edit]

Turn as a free action at beginning of your turn and then pull out your sacred weapon and begin the beatings.


Limitations[edit]

Do not attempt to play this character in a campagne not centered on fighting undead, you will be useless.
