Stub Logo.png This page is incomplete and/or lacking flavor. Reason: This background is severely lacking in fluff and questions to better help flesh out your character. Backgrounds are one of the most flavorful parts of character creation. This needs more to distinguish itself against backgrounds like noble and outlander.

Tribal Chieftain[edit]

When building a character with this background, there some questions that need asked? How big is your tribe? Why did you leave? How did your tribe interact with other tribes?

Skill Proficiencies: Athletics, Nature

Tool Proficiencies: None

Languages: Primordial, and one Standard language of your Choice

Equipment: A set of Traveler's Clothes (Which are half as heavy as they normally are), a Staff, Hunting Trophy, and a symbol to signify your tribe

Feature: Perceptive Eye[edit]

When observing a map you can quickly pick out any water sources, and when surveying terrain from high above you can determine the best hunting grounds.

Alternate Feature: Shamanistic Communication[edit]

A shaman or similar practitioner of the esoteric from your tribe may visit you in the form of an animal, or spirit. This allows you to contact your tribe at any given time.
