REACTIONS

Toxodon are a species of unusual animal, to say the least: they are hooved mammals that resemble a rhinoceros, but without a horn and a head more resembling a hippopotamus. These animals are rare overall but are extremely common where they are found, in no small part due to their extremely flexible diets that allow them to dine on grasses as easily as fruits and leaves. Their name, meaning "bow tooth", comes from the curvature of their incisors and their molars do not stop growing. While surprisingly agile and capable of great speed, like rhinos they rely more on their large size and bulk to defend themselves from predators.
