A throwing glaive is a circular ring with a number slashing blades around the outside.
Its unique shape allows it to go a great distance and it will also return to the spot from where it was thrown before the next round, but skilled warriors have learned to bounce it of their targets. When it comes back it can be caught as a free action. If it isn't caught it will drop to the ground and requires a move action to retrieve it.
Note: A throwing glaive with the "returning" special ability gains no extra bonus.
