The Void[edit]

Warlock Subclass

How does one best describe our Dread Patron? Imagine a perfect, cloudless midnight, cold as winter ice and shrouded in shadow. That is our patron we call The Void. Other names one can call our patron are simply Chaos, Doom, and Discord. There is more truth in The Void than the gods others hold so high, for we know exactly what our master wants and the best way to serve. Murder the world, bring an end to all that is.

Note: This variant is treated as though it were The Void subclass, granting it access to any Invocations and Boons exclusive to that subclass as well.

Spell Level Spells

Touch of The Void

Starting at 1st level, you have darkvision with a range of 60 feet. Your thoughts can't be read by telepathy or other means unless you allow it and you are hidden from divination magic, you can't be targeted by such magic or perceived through magical scrying sensors.

Shroud of The Void

Also starting at 1st level, the Void Weave within you, blurring your appearance in the darkness. While you are in shade or darkness, you can use your reaction to turn invisible for 1 minute. The effect ends if exposed to bright light, sunlight or try to attack, cast a spell. You can use this ability equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of 1) per long rest.

Power of The Void

At 6th level, The void powers your magic, you ignore the somatic and verbal requirements of spells.

Empty Soul

At 10th level, the emptiness within you overwhelms even that of outside influences and you become closer to the darkness that awaits all. You gain resistance to necrotic and radiant damage. You also have advantage on saving throws made against mind-affecting spells and abilities.

Hunger of The Void

At 14th level, when you reduce a creature to 0 hit points, they must succeed a constitution save or their soul immediately is consumed by your patron. This process rips the soul from its body; if the creature is undead or a living construct, the corpse also disintegrates. The creature cannot be resurrected by anything short of a wish spell.
