Taste of Darkness[edit]
At 1st level, You gain the ability as a bonus action to allow the shadows from the shadow king to change your shape, transforming you into a monstrous canine enshrouded by darkness (akin to a lycanthrope) for 2 minutes. When transformed your weapons are also enshrouded by shadows making them deal an additional 1d8 Necrotic damage on hit or you can use your new tooth and claw to deal 2d8 necrotic damage, using your Charisma modifier for attack and damage rolls. You also gain a +2 to AC and +10 ft. to your movement speed.
You may only use this feature an amount of times equal to your proficiency bonus, regaining all expended uses after completing a long rest
Shadow Rule[edit]
At 6th level, your link to the Shadow King gives you greater command over shadows, you have resistance to Necrotic damage and when casting and gain the ability to warp to dim light or darkness within 30 feet of you as a bonus action, changing to 60 feet when transformed using the Taste of Darkness feature.
Heir of Shadows[edit]
At 10th level, you gain more control over your shadows, sprouting black tendrils. As a bonus action, you can attack with them dealing 1d8 Necrotic damage, using your Charisma modifier for attack and damage rolls, increased to 2d8 while transformed, the range of your tendrils is equal to your melee weapons range. You also are granted an additional 10 ft. to movement speed on top of your Taste of Darkness bonus and the Necrotic damage of your weapons increase by 1d8 for both your weapon and your tooth and claw.
Coordination Day[edit]
At 14th level, you finally rise up and claim the throne of all shadows. You can cast the spell Shadow Armory without using a spell slot. When cast this way, you and all affected allies gain the benefits of your Taste of Darkness feature. When cast this way, the spell’s duration is 1 minute, you can only choose allies up to your proficiency bonus, and you can not cast spells for the duration.
Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
