The obliging horror is a fey creature of incredible speed and strength. Its attacks are brutal and relentless, and it moves with unrivaled velocity. The only weakness it has is its strange obligation to the will of others. When it is told to stop doing something, it will obey, refraining from It for 60 seconds exactly. This appears to be more than some sort of willing obligation and is more of a curse that is placed upon it. The horror is the only one of its kind, which suggests that it is a creation of some other being, rather than a species. In addition to the horror's insatiable desire to kill and extreme strength, the horror also possesses extreme intelligence and cunning, able to find loopholes in the restraints given to it by other creatures. For example, someone can say “Be still”, which will cause the horror to remain still. However, the horror is still able to communicate telepathically and may use its ability to trick its foes into reversing the wording, or goad them into attacking them, which will end the effect automatically. The horror is able to speak any language and may pretend to be someone else in order to draw its prey in. The horror cannot be reasoned with, and anything it tells you should be assumed to be a lie. |
