The Hive Queen (5e Subclass)
From D&D Wiki
The Hive Queen[edit]
Warlock Subclass
Long ago, before there was time. Before there was anything, there was the hive. Led by the all-seeing, all-knowing and all-encompassing Hive Queen, an unfathomable sentience, made manifest inside her subject's minds. They moved as one, thought as one and ate everything, down to the bacterium, as one. The Hive Queen was the Hive, as the Hive was her. One day, however, everything changed. Powerful warriors and mages from several planes banded together and overwhelmed the Hive Queen, defeating and locking her deep within the Outer Plane of Pandemonium. Since that fateful day, she has been biding her time, preparing for her rise. However, she can't do it alone. She has sent out fragments of herself, searching for those willing to serve her. And you have been chosen, to aid the Hive Queen and bring her back to power. Your very mind is now part of the Hive Queen, and you now serve as a small cell in the collective intelligence of the Hive Queen.

2nd | calm emotions, detect thoughts |
3rd | conjure animals, speak with dead |

5th | dominate person, insect plague |
Queen's Thrall[edit]
Starting at 1st level, you learn the Borrowed Knowledge spell and can cast it once per Short Rest without spending a Spell Slot nor material components. In addition, you gain proficiency in one Intelligence Skill of your choice when you choose this patron.
Additionally, you can telepathically speak to any creature you can see within 30 feet of you. You don’t need to share a language with the creature for it to understand your telepathic utterances, but the creature must be able to understand at least one language.
Wrath Of The Hive[edit]
Starting at 6th level, you can drive a lashing pain into the mind of enemies. As a bonus action, a number of creatures up to your proficiency bonus within 30ft must make an Intelligence saving throw. On a failed save, the creature takes 3d6 psychic damage and a -2 penalty to an amount of Ability and/or Skill checks equal to your proficiency bonus. On a successful save, a creature takes half as much damage and no penalty. You must finish a short or long rest before using this ability again.
Synapse Shield[edit]
Beginning at 10th level, your thoughts can't be read by other creatures unless you specifically allow it. You also gain resistance to psychic damage, and whenever you do take psychic damage, the the attacker takes the original damage.
One With The Hive Queen[edit]
Beginning at 14th level, you gain the ability to enthrall others and temporarily add them to the Hive. Whenever a creature is affected (damaged or otherwise) a spell or cantrip you casted, subtract 1d4 from their Intelligence Score. If their Intelligence Score reaches 1 or less, they become charmed by you and under your control. Each creature enthralled this way regains their free will after 1 minute.
