The Forgiven (5e Race)
From D&D Wiki
The Forgiven[edit]
A young child, beautiful golden hair rests on her shoulders. Her eyes light blue to an almost grey hue. She raises her arm and sends out a rush of vines at the intruders whom entered her land. If only they hadn't been full of greed they wouldn't have had to die.
Physical description[edit]
Being young at death, they have very soft smooth skin, hardly touched by time. Their hair is long, being the one thing that continues to grow on them. Usually golden or light in color, being saturated by being a spirit. Eyes loose their color, being faint hues of their past life's color. Coming from any race but mainly non-beast people, their names come in much of a variety.
History[edit]
An innocent soul who lived a life of torment to reach an untimely demise. A god feels pity towards the young child and gives it a second run at life, with the power to protect themselves and others. The are assigned to protect a mystic land and allow it to flourish in solitude.
Society[edit]
The Forgiven are very rarely seen in the presence of another. They're chosen once a millennia. In their solitude they become very close with the creatures that inhabit their land, many being forest animals and good fey.
Making a Forgiven[edit]
When making a Forgiven, ask yourself a few questions:"What deity brought them back?" "How long have they been back in the world?" "What type of land do they protect?" "Can I learn to mature even though my body can't?" These will help shape the way your character fits into the world.
