The Contagion [Heroic]

Increase the damage die of your Corrupting Fire racial encounter power from d4 to d10, and cause an additional ongoing effect.
Prerequisite: Eredar, Corrupting Fire racial encounter power
Benefit: You unleash the chaotic energy of the Fel to this realm, with the fire bursting ground the depths of the ground as if summoned from the pits of hell. You increase the damage die of your "Corrupting Fire" power to d10, instead of d4's. In addition, when you use your "Corrupting Fire" Racial encounter power, the burst creates a zone bounded by burning ground that lasts until the end of your next turn, or can persist as a sustain minor. Whenever an enemy ends their turn in the zone, it gains "The Contagion", which causes ongoing damage equal to your highest ability modifier (save ends). Once per turn, as a free action, you can choose for any creature adjacent to any other creature with "The Contagion" on the battlemap, to gain "The Contagion", and take the same ongoing damage. In this way, you can spread it to other creatures. If a creature dies while it has the Contagion, it's space can be used to spread the Contagion to any adjacent creature or creature within it's square or that comes in contact with the creature, until the end of the encounter.
