Template talk:4e Deity
From D&D Wiki
Proposed fields and comments:
|file= image filename (optional?) |symbol= image text |alignment= lawful good, good, unaligned, evil or chaotic evil |spheres= list of spheres the deity has influence over, for indexing purposes |domain= domain for use by clerics and warpriests (I will make an index for this) |channeldivinity= link to a channel divinity power
In the preload:
Main description, of the general format: "Deity is the god(dess) of ...; These are her interests; These people worship her; Other information
His strictures/commandments/tenets are: *Commandment 1 *Commandment 2 *Commandment 3 "
I have removed:
- type - There's no deity hierarchy in 4e. If the author wishes to introduce it, it is an aspect of the setting and should be detailed at the setting's pantheon page. Hierarchy structure might vary from setting to setting.
- title - goes in the main textblock
- worshipers - described in main textblock
- dominion - again, cosmologies are going to vary from setting to setting.
Some deity pages are still using favoredweapon and plane fields, so I gotta go through and fix those anyway. Marasmusine (talk) 01:08, 28 December 2012 (MST)
